MARKETING / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Job Type       : Full Time (40 Hours per week)

Salary             : To be determined based on experience and qualifications

Education      : Post Secondary Degree in Marketing or equivalent in experience is an asset

Location         : Kapuskasing

Start Date      : As soon as possible

Reports to      : General Manager & Department Managers

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manage company’s web site to ensure accuracy of inventory and information
  • Manage and create new social media platforms to reach as many users as possible
  • Prepare advertising packages (for local events, donations, sponsorships, and all other advertising opportunities)
  • Develop / join an online store platform to sell our products
  • Manage templates for operating system
  • Create Marketing plan and budget. Measure and report results of different advertising methods
  • Work with the sales department to advertise monthly vehicle specials
  • Work with parts and service departments to develop promotions
  • Ensure advertising is always compliant with regulations imposed
  • Monitor and arrange vehicle displays on the lot
  • Make initial contact with online leads and respond to online reviews
  • Purchasing (Office supplies, Brand and Val Albert Motors apparel, other supplies)
  • Assist with vehicles licensing
  • Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Replace shuttle driver when necessary
  • Clerical duties (telephone reception, work order filing, mail-outs)
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of dealerships public areas
  • All other duties requested by management

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in marketing or equivalent experience is required
  • Experience in a digital advertising position is an asset
  • Energetic and have a positive attitude
  • Must have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment all while being extremely organized
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Must strive to achieve excellence and be a team player
  • Bilingual (French and English)
